After a successful hosting of turn-table wizard, DJ
Slam last month, the monthly i-Level Celebrity Nite continues next week with famous
music producer, Fliptyce.
This
month’s i-Level Nite is scheduled to take place at i-Level Lounge, Avis Bus
Stop, Ogba, on Friday, 27 September and will host Fliptyce, an international
music producer who has worked with the likes of Akon, P-Square, Faze, Bracket,
May D, Terry G and many others.
The event
is a double celebration for Fliptyce, who will mark his birthday same time. Artistes
that will honour him with performances at the club on that day are include
Jaywon, Minjin, Dammy Krane, Danny Young, El-Phlex, YQ, Shaka EL, ODwooD,
Yemi Alade and Az-Flow.
According
to Fliptyce, “I’m really looking forward to that day, and I’m happy that a lot
of my celebrity friends have promised to honour me with their presence. It is
going to be fun as I will seize the opportunity to surprise people with my
singing prowess as well.”
i-Level
Nite, which is powered by Square Image Associates, SIA, is targeted at
celebrating entertainment personalities who has contributed their quota to the
growth of the industry. It is also a platform to showcase new artistes to the
consciousness of the public.
Super-producer, Fliptyce stamped his indelible imprint on the music scene in
2009. He has worked with P-Square, Akon, Faze, Bracket, May D, DJ Zee, Dammy
Krane, Yemi Alade, Krys (France) YQ, BlackFace, Artquake, Op1(USA) and many
more.
He’s signed to So-Fly Music Group (SMG), using SoFly as a signatory tune in
most of his productions. Fliptyce is also a talented singer, composer, writer
and a record producer. He also runs sound engineering and music production
school. His delight is still to blow the listener's mind and make them move to
the beat.
On the personal side, he’s a geologist and a motivational speaker. He
produced Ojutiwon for Danny Young in 2009 and My Girl featuring KEL and
legendary Paul Play. In 2011, he produced Chop My Money for P-Sqaure, he
produced 7 tracks for FAZE in his newly released album titled REFAZED including
smash hit singles AM IN THE MOOD AND NKEM. Fliptyce also produced ILE-IJO for
MAY-D and also his newly released single SO MANY TINZ.
He worked with PASUMA WONDER and DAMMY KRANE on LIGALI. Terry G, a producer
who hardly jumps on other producers beat, did feature on a track Fliptyce
produced for YQ titled SANDALILI. Fliptyce has also produced several tracks on
LKT'S debut album.
He produced a welcome back song for BLACK FACE, a former member of
Plantashun Bois titled EMOTIONS (featuring faze). TERENA GROOVE for the Alanta
creator ARTQUAKE featuring a prolific rapper VECTOR, SME SME for KLEVER JAY
(feat Faze) and Sweet R&B song for BRACKET titled TIME. Fliptyce is also
working with American producer and a rapper, OP1.
