Chibok Girls Mum Died



One of the Chibok girls in Borno State died of an attack. Late Mary Paul Lalai, was said to have passed on whe she heard the chocking news of the abduction of her daughter, the mother collapsed and she eventually died of heart attack. The confirmation was made by the member representing Chibok constituency in the State House of Assembly, Aimu Fona. Her husband is left to mourn the late Mrs. Mary is her husband who is still hoping for the release of two of his daughters held at the Sambisa Forest stronghold of the wicked Boko Haram sect. We pray they come back home soon. May her soul RIP!

Fake Mad Man Arrested With Guns



The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a suspected mad man for being in possession of arms and ammunition. The man was arrested on Saturday by some vigilant residents of Gowon Estate in the Ipaja area of Lagos.

“The people were curious about what he was dumping. Upon closer examination, it was discovered that the mad man emptied one locally-made double-barrel pistol and four live cartridges into the dust bin. 
“The youths in the community claimed they have been seeing him around the area as a mad man. He was immediately handed over to the police at Gowon Estate but under interrogation, he was not coherent in his speech.
“He was later transferred to the State CID, Panti, Yaba, for further investigation."
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police, Lagos State Command, DSP Ngozi Braide, disclosed this during a chat with the News Agency of Nigeria. Braide said the suspect was allegedly caught at 5th Avenue, Customs Junction, Gowon Estate, Ipaja, while trying to empty some items into a dust bin.

The police commended residents of the Gowon Estate for their vigilance and security consciousness, and urged them to continue to assist the police with useful information on suspicious movements.

To show her gratitude she has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Nigerians and her friends all over the world for the support shown to her in the last few days since she was urgently flown abroad. Speaking through her media advisory, Akunyili said “I am touched – indeed, overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and affection by my fellow countrymen and women, as well as numerous other well wishers around the world, many of whom have not only been praying for me but have also been mobilizing through the various social networks for God’s healing hands to come upon me. “I am confident that Almighty God will hear our prayers and grant me quick recovery. I love you all and pray that Almighty God blesses you all.” she said

Eniola Badmus Now A Radio Presenter



Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, popularly known as 'Gbo Gbo Bigz Girls,' who is famous for her different roles in movies is now a radio presenter. The graduate of Theatre Arts from the prestigious University of Ibadan talked about the show ‘Your Head Dey There" as a ‘question-and-answer program’, which will focus on the environment, especially for people in the city of Lagos, there will be cash prizes for listeners who can correctly answer questions on the show, She added.
The programme will be aired at 6pm on every Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays on Wazobia and Naija FM stations.

Female Banker Died With A Lover





A female banker aMrs. Adejoke Ayeola, 44, from Iperu Remo in Ogun State, reportedly died with her secret lover  Mr. Wilson Ugwunna, 42, from Imo State at Eziudo in the Ezinihitte area of Mbaise, Imo State while having sex. The alleged banker who married to a traditional chief in Ogun State lied to her husband that she was attending a meeting in Ibadan, while she went to Mbaise with her secret lover to enjoy.

Pregnant LAWMA Killed By Tanker

A pregnant LAWMA (Lagos State Waste Management Authority) employee was hit by a petrol tanker vehicle yesterday while she was sweeping the streets.
The accident occurred at an Ojota, Lagos road while the woman, Kikelomo Bamidele, was sweeping the inside roads of the BRT lane near the pedestrian bridge, PM News reports.
“The tanker driver had break failure and was trying to manoeuvre the vehicle when he veered into the BRT Lane where he crushed the sweeper. The sweeper’s leg was totally crushed and she lost a lot of blood,” said a witness.
The driver reportedly tried to flee, but was however apprehended by LASTMA staff, who handed him over to the police.
Bamidele was rushed to the Lagos State Emergency Centre at the old toll gate of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Unfortunately, they were unable to save her life.
