The popular actor cum song writer Olanrewaju  Abdul Ganiyu Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan is dead.

The shocking news reached us this morning by his elder brother Dr Kayode Fasasi. The popular musician dies of Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.

DMX Died Of Heart Attack

 According to Vulture, DMX officially died from a cocaine-induced heart attack that caused a lack of blood circulation to his brain.

“It was cardiac arrest for a period of time, so there was no circulation to the brain,” a source from the Westchester County medical examiner’s office told Vulture. The lethal series of events was caused by acute cocaine intoxication, the source added.

The publication reported that an analysis of Simmons’s urine showed the presence of cocaine.

The source explained to Vulture that although DMX’s heart was revived at one point and there was a pulse, his brain was already dead.

“His death literally happened immediately because the brain was dead,” the source added.

“So obviously, there were a number of days where he was on ventilatory support and so forth in the hospital,” the source said. “However, he was diagnosed brain-dead early on … He never woke up from [a] coma.”

Born Earl Simmons, the rapper reigned over the late 1990s and early 2000s and was among hip-hop’s most vulnerable and endearing stars.

He was the first artist to debut an album at No. 1 five times in a row on the Billboard 200 charts. Overall, DMX has sold over 74 million records worldwide.

DMX was also an actor, he featured in films such as Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave, and Last Hour.
He died in April at age 50 after nearly a week on life support.

Actress Halima Abubakar Stuns In New Pictures ...Floats Habibi Luxury Items Store On Recently

 

Veteran actress and philanthropist, Halima Abubakar has once again impressed her fans as she looks absolutely radiant and stunning in her new  collection of pictures released today. 

Halima, who has proved her mettle as one of the longest standing and relevant actresses, is not relenting on her oars. She is set to float Habibi Luxury Items, a store that deals in all kinds of jewelry, hairs and luxury items. The store will be opened on June 12, which also coincides with her birthday. 

Habibi Luxury Items stores, according to Halima, will be opened in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and other states of the federation. 

She hinted that “we will also be doing deliveries once the orders are placed online or electronically. It’s a one-stop store where you can pick or order for golds and diamonds.” 

For many years, the proud Kogi State indigene has been putting smile on the faces of the less privileged persons in the society under the auspices of her Halima Abubakar Foundation. 

The foundation has been saddled with the responsibility of providing free food for children in rural areas from the actress’s farm produce. Hundreds of children have been fed from this charity project over the years. 

Halima Abubakar has also been an ambassador for good hygiene in children. She has been sensitizing the girl and boy child, talking about how to take care of the human body from the child perspective. 

“We also give out sanitary pads and every necessary hygiene items. All these and more are what we do for children in rural areas who ordinarily won’t have access to what their counterparts in the cities have,” Halima added. 

Meanwhile, one of Halima’s movies, Inside Nollywood, is set to be premiered on Netflix.

Veteran Standup Comedian and Master Compere, Gbenga Adeyinka, has concluded plans to make this year’s Eid-el-Kabir (Ileya) celebration a memorable one with a special edition of his scintillating Laffmattazz music and comedy show. 

Laffmattazz is scheduled to hold on 21 July, 2021 (a day after Ileya) at the Conference Hotel, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. 

Popular musicians and comedians like Small Doctor, Terry G, 9ice, Omobaba, Bash and Baba Kamoh are among the entertainers billed to perform at the event. 

Others include DrSmile, Koye, Baffy, Baba Alariya, ArkBishop, ATM, MC Layo, Nepa Boys, Paul D GoodGuy, Dr Frick, HoneyTongue, General Olax, Coded, Swanky, Mc Xsho and Baba Alariwo, while there will be guest appearances by Yomi Fash-Lanso, BaeUBarbie and Ijebu. 

For many years, Gbenga Adeyinka and Friends have been serenading many cities in Nigeria with Laffmattazz, which has been dubbed the comedy show of the year. 

According to the host, Gbenga Adeyinka, “we have been very consistent with Laffmattazz because it has been saving lives. It has proved to be the panacea to our daily stress. It’s a melting pot for everyone who want to relax frayed nerves in a peaceful and secured atmosphere.”

People have always refer to me as “mgbeke” (local girl) that I dont know fashion or carry designer bags/shoes/clothes That I don’t wear expensive hair. Well my darlings I do know and want to wear those things but I have been saving for this building right here. I can’t remember d last time my family travelled for Xmas because their is no house to stay. 

My mother falls sick whenever she goes for August meeting and comes back. My father wanted to sell half of our compound to fix d leaking roof, buy ceiling and also patch the broken wall but I told him No. ( PAPA I WILL BUILD HOUSE FOR YOU) after saving for sometime, I wanted to use the money to buy myself another car (A bigger car) but I said to myself, what’s d need for d car when we don’t have roof over our head in d village moreover the car I have is still in good condition and serves me well, I can always buy another one later. Today am grateful to Almight God that it came to pass. 

My parents are d happiest ppl on earth. 4 masters bedroom, extra 2 toilets, kitchen, dinning and palour. God is the Greatest.
