Nigeria, Cameroon Block Maritime Border With Heavy Gunboats

There is heavy military presence as Nigeria and Cameroon have deployed heavy gunboats to the maritime border in Bakassi Peninsula.

Sources also said the major road to Calabar from Ikang has been militarized with stop-and-search security teams. T was gathered that residents have expressed fear over the sudden military presence.

This might not be unconnected with the 14 days ultimatum of Biafra Nations League (BnL).

BnL gave the two countries 14 days ultimatum to release Nnamdi Kanu, withdraw troops from South East and Bakassi Peninsula.

Also, BnL Chief of Staff in Ikang said he was alarmed by the call he received from an agent of the DSS who was talking about the BnL ultimatum.

Operational Commander of BnL, Henry Edet, reacting to reinforcement of troops, said they would end up intimidating indigenes, insisting they can't stop anything that wants to happen.

Bright Path School With Incompetent Teachers

One of the private schools in Arepo area, Bright Path Academy which is situated In Ogun State along Lagos Ibadan Expressway has been reported to have incompetent teachers and lack of sound educational system.

According to some online statistics, there are over twelve thousand private schools and more than one thousand, six hundred government-owned schools in Lagos, Nigeria. Making a fulfilling choice among all these schools requires more than luck

Preparing one’s child for either primary or secondary school education could be a very tough task for parents. This is partly because parents suddenly realize there are many issues to consider which hitherto have not really been given a serious thought.

In the midst of this large number of schools, you could be sure there will be all manner of educational provisions ranging from excellent rates to low standards. The quality of education your child receives in any school will to a large extent determine how he or she turns out academically.

The report reaching us from one of the parents is that the school lacks qualified teachers and proper monitoring of the proprietor.

The school affair is being entrusted to run by one of the incompetent teachers who later became the bursar of the school. The lady in question said to be the worst staff, she speaks vulgar languages, good at using abusive languages also find it difficult to construct a simple sentence in English. I wonder what she teaches in class.

During our interview with some of the students it was stated that teachers in secondary secondary section rarely stay for.a term, primary school teachers can't construct a simple sentence, pupils correct teachers on board, the proprietor gives less attention to the school.

It's advisable that parents should make effort to make enquires about a school before registering the child, it is also important you consider your pocket and budget.
