The new president of the club noted that “as members of the Rotary Club of Akowonjo“, we are united by our unwavering commitment to spreading hope in our communities, both near and far adding that it is through our collective efforts, fueled by compassion and dedication, that we will make a lasting impact and create a world filled with possibilities.

According to Dr. Sam-Amoye, “during my presidency, I envision our club, “The Achievers’ Club” as a beacon of hope for all” noting that “we will strive to be the catalysts of positive change, extending a helping hand to those in need and uplifting spirits through our various initiatives because our vision will be to encourage each and every member to embrace the spirit of selflessness, extend acts of kindness to others and to create moments that instill hope for the future we eagerly anticipate”.

Consequently, she charged members of the club to “embark on this extraordinary journey of service, knowing that their collective efforts will bring joy, alleviate suffering, and inspire countless lives” adding that “as we join hands in fellowship today, let us ignite the fire of hope within us, for it is through hope that we will forge a path towards a brighter tomorrow but let us always remember that the hope we seek to create starts with us, as members of this incredible club”.

As she puts it: “together, we will amplify our impact and create a ripple effect of hope that will extend far beyond our club's boundaries”.

In her views on the day’s event, she remarked that “as we gather for our inaugural Rotary fellowship, we are transported into a world of enchantment and a romantic embrace of service to humanity as we celebrate "A Night of Blues” and according to her, "this captivating theme holds deep symbolism, representing significant aspects that resonate with the spirit of our club and the journey that lies ahead”

The highpoints of the inaugural fellowship was the presentation of award by the president to the immediate past president Rotarian Wale Ajenifuja but received on his behalf by Rotarian Victor Amaraegbu because of his absence due to ill health.
