Actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie has taken to Instagram to express her astonishment at the strange number she discovered on her follower’s count on Threads App.
This came after the launch of Mark Zuckerberg’s new social networking app, Threads on Wednesday as a number of Nigerian celebrities and influencers are already showing great interest in the platform.
She noticed that her follower’s count displayed the alleged satanic number, 666, and found it rather unsettling. In an attempt to change this number, she pleaded with her fans and followers to join her on Threads App and increase her follower count, hoping to alter the digits from 66.6K.
The actress, in a light-hearted manner, posted: “Abeg, I dey fear this number wey my Followers dey. Make una Follow me small on @threadsapp make e change. Abeg 666 bawo?” .
Translated to English, she playfully implored her fans to follow her on the Threads app, hoping to reduce her concerns about the satanic connotation associated with the current followers count.
Fans found Mercy‘s outcry amusing and came to her aid by promising to follow her on the app, ensuring that the numbers would change.
Their responses indicated willingness to support the actress in altering her followers count and reduce any worries associated with the allegedly ominous number.
