On February 20, 2025, former Nigerian military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida launched his autobiography, _*A Journey In Service*_, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja. The event, chaired by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and attended by notable figures including President Bola Tinubu and former Presidents, also served as a fundraiser for the IBB Presidential Library.
President Tinubu acknowledged Babangida's influence on his political career and praised his vision. Babangida addressed the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election, referring to it as an "accident of history" and accepted responsibility for it.
The release of A Journey In Service comes 32 years after Babangida left office, offering an in-depth look into his years of service and providing personal insights into significant events that have shaped Nigeria’s history.
