Mohbad’s Widow, Wunmi, Speaks Out In Emotional Interview

Omowunmi Cynthia, the widow of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has finally broken her silence in an interview with Chude Jideonwo. She opened up about the struggles she has faced since her husband’s death, including threats to her life and conflicts with her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba.

I Get Death Threats Daily

Wunmi revealed that she no longer feels safe, as she constantly receives death threats.

_*“I literally get death threats almost every day in my DM. It’s either I speak up or I die in silence,”*_ she said.

Father-in-Law’s Alleged Fight for Mohbad’s Properties

She accused Joseph Aloba of trying to take control of her late husband’s assets, despite being the one who pushed for their marriage.

He wanted to control everything that belonged to my husband, or he would ruin my life.

Harsh Words About Their Son, Liam

Wunmi also claimed that her father-in-law criticized her son’s appearance, saying he had bow legs and looked older than him at almost 60. She further alleged that he once said Mohbad wanted to throw Liam into the Third Mainland Bridge.

DNA Test Controversy

Addressing the calls for a DNA test, Wunmi stated that she has always been ready for it. However, Mohbad’s family allegedly told her not to reveal the results to the public.

I have been ready for the DNA, but they said once it’s done, I shouldn’t tell the public.

Wunmi’s interview has sparked fresh debates surrounding Mohbad’s death and the ongoing family feud. As investigations into the late singer’s passing continue, many are watching to see how the situation unfolds.
